A half year old.

Carl is now 6 months old and keeps getting cuter--oh and heavier;) He weighs 20 pounds now. He is all up to date with he's immunizations. For his recent shots he bursted out crying but managed to stop less than 3 minutes later.

I am glad he hasn't gotten sick from his vaccines. He is also able to sit on his own a bit. It looks like he's going to get the crawling down soon. He's a momma's boy, and lately he wants to be carried all the time or else he cries. If we leave him on the floor, he moves around everywhere by rolling around. His smile just melts me away. If I could I would never put him down but mommy has got to get things done around the house. Sorry Carl:)

going back..

I was looking through Novembers Family photo shoot.

Christmas outfits...

I'm one of those moms that love to get the kids a Christmas outfit:) I got Chase and Carl matching shirts. Savvy's dress was given to her from Grandma who saved it for her from my niece Alyssa:) I love these pictures because of the kids' facial expressions.

Christmas 2010

This was our first Christmas away from CA and our family. Thank goodness for phones and webcams!

On Christmas eve the kids and I met up with Greg at the beach. It was great because we hadn't done a family beach trip for over a month because of all the rain. Later that night we had pizza and rootbeer floats--the Peterson tradition. The kids were off to bed early and woke up early excited to see what Santa brought them.

They thought Santa was going to bring them a cieling fan. (It's a long story.) We spent the day playing with their new toys and had lunch/dinner with some friends from church at their house. It was a great christmas, and I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.

Greg coming in to greet us. I wanted to see some surfing but the waves were to small to ride:(Greg took Chase out and Chase was a litttle scared.Greg was great at comforting him though.Chase asked Santa for a Wii and a Lego Batman game. Can you tell the sun isn't out yet?Savvy asked for a bike.Savvy happy to have a princess Ariel doll:)Family Christmas photo. I'm amazed that there's another baby in this picture.

Visit with Santa!

On Thursday we went to the mall to visit Santa--Chase's request:) It was a fun night. I'm glad we did. Greg was a trooper. He's not a big fan of big crowds. Chase told this Santa he wanted 1000 silly bands:)
After the kids' visit with Santa, we went for dinner at a fun restaurant. It feels like your in a circus.Carl is starting to set in a high chair
Chase and Savvy got cool balloons. Chase picked Rudolph and Savvy a snowman.

White to Orange belt...

Our orange belt, karate-kid will be back to training January 5th. School break is on going. Dear Chase, for as long as I can remember, you have had a passion for kicking and punching. You would always want to fight with bad guys. At one time you thought everyone was a bad guy and wanted to fight with everyone. I don't know how long your passion will be for karate but you have a goal to get to black belt. You have been in karate classes for 2 months now and have learned all the white belt forms really well.

On testing day you were really awesome. I was so proud of you, and watching you made me smile from ear to ear. I hope your karate passion doesn't get you into trouble:) I hope all your karate skills will protect you, but really I hope you never have to ever use anything that you've learned.

Love your mom.The kids are anxious for Christmas.

Kuleana award

Yay!! Chase earned a Kindergarten Hoku Award for Kuleana (Responsibility). Mrs Iwane, Chase's teacher, said he showed responsibility in class. We were excited for him because there were only four other kids in his class to get one. I told him he had to work really hard to get one. He said he would try:) and he did it!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree..

The Christmas tree is up and doing a ginger-cracker house with Chase in his classroom...it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas:) Oh just for the record, my friend Lety and I drove around our town like crazy hunting down a Christmas tree. Thank goodness we found one! We learned for next year we are getting our Christmas trees early in December!

A fun, short visit to Cali....

My niece Kayla was baptized on December 3, 2010. She is my parents' first grandchild to get baptized. I am super happy I got to be there for it. I couldn't wait until March to visit with my family. It was awesome to see them all! And it was even more awesome that Carl got to meet his family for the first time.

Family photo shoot!

On November 4, we got our family pictures taken for our Christmas cards. They turned out nice--but not as good as Michelle does! There were 112 pictures on the CD. Now the hardest part is trying to figure out which pictures I want to print and frame. There are more pictures I uploaded on facebook. Here is one picture I didn't add on facebook that I just absolutely love. Greg with Savvy:)

I don't know which family picture to use for our Christmas card. Help me.. which one?
