Too much sun...

We are really enjoying the beaches. I think I need to try to stay away from too much sun exposure for my skin. I think it's from being pregnant but I tan quickly. I don't know if I can get any darker. The kids love playing in the sand and Chase loves to snorkel. I went on an outting with them to Ko'Olina and while I was sitting in the shade, Chase was snorkeling all by himself. I was so impressed watching him swim and float in the water that I had to take a picture. Here is Savvy doing some modeling:And Chase being cool with his floaties:Savvy knows how to relax:And Savvy and Chase both love it when their Dad burries them: Greg found a beach that we can do some fun snorkeling. We were very surprised to see tons of tropical fish there, without tons of people. It was a perfect day until all out of nowhere it started pouring rain. The crazy thing was that the rain didn't feel cold at all. The weather here changes always. We hear when April comes around it's really warm with less rain. That should be nice.

Greg has picked up a new hobby. He goes out surfing with a friend from work a couple times a week. He likes it but says it's hard. He still won't let me watch him until he gets better. I hope that will happen before we move off Island;)
I have met new friends at church. They are all nice and sweet. They have given us a very warm welcome. The kids and I went to a playgroup and had a really good time. The kids played with friends and us moms got to chat together. I am excited to be able to hang out with young moms and get together with them.
Well life is all good at the moment.

We are expecting a...

Six months down and three to go!!

It took 3 ultrasound appointments to know what this baby was going to be, not that he didn't want to show, but because of problems with paper work, insurance complications, and not having a babysitter. We finally know for sure now that....I knew it was a boy the whole time, but I had to see it to believe it. He showed himself openly. The ultrasound tech and I talked throughout the appointment a lot. When she checked for the baby's sex, she told me it's a boy, then said look at that turtle. I thought that was so cute and funny. I think this baby has a nickname already.
Greg and I decided to name him after an amazing man: Carl Reuben Peterson. We were thinking about naming him "Tru," but, because of an amazing experience, we changed our minds.

We originally only wanted two children. I felt that Chase and Savvy were the only ones for Greg and me. But, almost 8 months ago, I started praying really hard about whether to have another child.

My prayer was answered in Fillmore Utah at Greg's grandpa's funeral, Carl Reuben Peterson. At the funeral I remember feeling that there was another spirit waiting to join our family. At that moment, I knew we needed to have another baby and I felt I should name him after Grandpa. I think it's amazing that I felt an answer so strongly. It was even more amazing that I felt it would be a boy.

We are very excited. But we do worry that being named after such a great man will be tough on the little guy. He's going to have a lot to live up to!

Brave Savvy;)

It's nice to be settled in! It was a long hard job getting everything put together. I am enjoying military life. I'm now used to having to show my military ID cards everywhere that we go on post. I think it's cute when Chase has to tell me, "Mom, get your card ready".

Greg is enjoying his job. That's great!! I was a little scared he wouldn't, but no worries. He is working in the Legal Assistance Office. He works one on one with soldiers that need legal help. He deals with estate planning, divorce, adoption, paternity, child support, etc. Monday through Friday, Greg's day begins at 5 or 6 am and he doesn't get home until right before dinner 6ish.

He has weekends off. It's wonderful because we have him for 2 whole days;) and Saturday is always beach time! After his long day of work we have to go out and do errands. He's awesome!!!! Thank goodness we don't have to worry about late night shopping anymore because we now have a second car. I'm excited to explore the city this week:) Oh, and I finally get my car back!!!!

On Saturday, Savvy was really brave to get on the boogie board. She caught two waves. She ONLY goes in the water if we're holding onto her. So it was a big deal that she went alone on the board. I was so proud of her. The waves weren't big but she did it!! Savvy's face here just cracks me up. Yay... Greg finally got to barbecue. I love love his cooking:) He grilled up some steaks. The kids were excited about eating bbq and helping with it. As was I;) The steak was delicious!!!

Ribbit...ribbit!!!!;)

Chase and Savvy are so happy to be out of the hotel. Two days ago, we drove out to a car dealer on the same street as the hotel we stayed at. Savvy recognized where we were and burst out crying. She then said, "I don't want to go back to the hotel. I want to go back to the house" It was so sad. Poor Savvy. I was happy to tell her that we weren't going back.
Greg is trying to find a car. This Saturday, we hope to find it. We really need one now. I don't mind being at home, but I would like to take the kids out to do some activity's before I get too BIG to move around;) I'm starting to get worried that this is going to be a BIG baby, and I have 3 more months left! Where is this baby going to fit in my belly?
Yesterday I decided to decorate the bathrooms. I went online to see if i could find things I liked. Honestly, I wanted to know what I was going to get before I had to do some shopping. Especially having to go to the store with Savvy. She is a challenge when we need to shop. She is still a busy little bee and a wonderer whereever we go. We need to watch her like a hawk, because she is not afried of walking off all by herself.
I wanted to have a fun bathroom for the kids. I let them decided what they wanted. They did. We went "froggie." The kids love it. The Frog trash can and soap holder make ribbit sounds. I love Target!

First week in our new place....

Finally, we are out of the hotel and into our new place. It was fun staying at the hotel but after 5 weeks, it gets a little old, especially with two little ones. We only had one car and the closest place to take the kids was 4 miles away. When weekends came around I was so EXCITED because Greg was off work and we were out all day, at the beach or running other errands.

The kids and I did go on long walks and once we were brave enough to get on a public bus. It was our first time ever riding on one and the kids loved it. During and after the bus ride, the kids sang, "The Wheels On the BUS." It was cute hearing them sing that song...the first hurdred times:)

Here are some pictures of the house. The backyard is one of my favorite parts. We are enjoying it a lot. One day we were eating out here for dinner while looking at a beautiful rainbow. I was just blown away!!! I took these before it was furnished. Here's the backyard: The kitchen and behind that is the front room: Here's the dinning area and family room. This is one bathroom and the other looks about the same.
