School project, 100 days in School

Chase has been in school for 100 days now. All kindergartners were celebrating 100 days of school. They had to use 100 objects to show what one hundred looks like. Greg came up with the idea of creating a cake to put 100 candles on. Savvy, Greg, and I helped Chase make his creation, and we had fun doing it:) Man I didn't know kindergartners had to do school projects.Close up-

Seven months..

Today, 01-23-11, Carl is 7 months old. He's growing and if 7 month olds could walk, he would. He is a busy baby and wants to be part of what ever Chase and Savvy are doing. He reaches for everything, so watch out while you're carrying him.

He started to say Dada while repeating after me he hasn't gotten the mama down yet but it's okay. Two teeth on the top just came out, and he just got over a virus/bug. Thank goodness! I feel so bad for my babies when they get sick. Thank you Tylenol! He is almost crawling. Oh and Carl has curls like his Mom. Yay! Now one of my babies will have an afro. Here are some pictures highlighting his curls:

Who would have known...

that I would be playing with Barbies as an adult:) What makes it even cooler is that I did with my very own daughter. We had a blast.

Now I think Savvy is going to have an easier time convincing me that we need more Barbie stuff in the toy store!

Savvy also made Mrs. Potatohead in a really funny way all by herself!

Sunbeam..

Savannah's first Sunday in the primary as a sunbeam. Can you tell how short her hair is now? Savvy cut her hair. These were her own words, "I want to look like Mulan." Um, bad idea Savvy:) She loves her class and teacher. And her teacher seems to really like her too.

New Years Eve..

New Years crept up on me. It took me a while t0 realize 2010 was really about to be over and 2011 was hours away. In the morning we went to the beach. This was the first time Carl ever let me put his feet in the sand. He liked it. Around 5ish,We decided to make dough for pizza. I went to the grocery store to get some stuff for dinner. Greg wanted to put my Christmas gift to use:) We had some Martinelli Apple Cider and did some fireworks.

We rang in the new year with New york at 7pm our time. After that, we put the kids off to bed. I was really surprised when midnight came because Oahu rang in the New Year with a big bang, Fireworks popping all over. I mean seriously, it was crazy. It sounded like everyone was doing them! It was crazier than any 4th of July I can remember.
Here are some pictures of the kids making pizza that night:

I'm excited for the New Year. Can't wait to visit our family this March. I feel like it's just around the corner. It's a little scary how fast the months are going. Many things will be happening but please 2011 don't go too fast.
