Greg's New Years!

I wanted to add these pictures on here from Greg's short visit with his grandparents in Utah back in December. I didn't want to forget this before copying and printing the blog out as my journal. Greg had a really good time with his parents, sister, and grandparents. For new years eve Greg likes to get apple cider. I laughed when I saw this picture because I knew that Greg would do that with his grandparents.

What's new with us!

We are doing well. I am working out, parenting, and planning a bridal shower and birthday party. We've had cold weather so we've been indoors lately. It sure feels like winter. I hope by February its warmer for Chase's birthday.

Chase and Savannah are having fun with there cousins coming over to play--he spent Friday with Christian and Chloe and Saturday with Tyler and the gang. Thursdays I still take Chase to the library. Good time for the kidos. Greg is working on tons of paper work for the army and preparing himself for his upcoming training. By March will know where in the heck we will be living for the next 4 years. I am so excited I can't wait to know.

Not yet, but soon. I'm a little nervous.

Up high.........

For the past week Chase has been asking us to go fly a kite. Well, today we did it and it was so much fun. Chase was soooooo excited. His kite was flying up high in the sky. It was fun watching him enjoy his moment while he flew the kite on his own. It was a perfect day to fly the kite, and I was glad we did it with him. We all flew the kite too. Mammy and grandpa came with us, and we made it our family home evening.

Savannah loved flying the kite.

update........

About two weeks ago I started going to the gym. Friday, I worked my upper-body too hard and I am still sore from it. It's been really hard because I am soooooo out of shape. Even though its been hard, its been fun to do this with my sister-in-law, Kristin. While we've been working out hard, Greg has stayed at home babysitting the kids. He's super!

We've also been planning Chase's 4th birthday party. It's coming up soon. We are having family and friends join us to celebrate it at a really fun park that I love to take the kids to. My talented brother-in-law, Alex, created Chase's birthday invitations. We all love them, especially Chase. If you haven't received an invitation yet, you will be seeing one soon. Savannah is too funny! Right now she's in love with dogs. Her word for dog is "wow-wow." Whenever she sees one she blows lots of kisses. Today, she said a new word to mammy. She said "pretty."
We had an awesome stake conference this weekend. I am so happy to be a member of the church.
Greg's cousin, Jessica, came home a few days ago from a 18-month mission to Argentina. Greg got to talk to her tonight in Spanish and he really got a kick out of it. He said she sounds like a native Argentine. Welcome home Sister Peterson. Job well done.

Twilight........

I started reading the twilight series right after I watched the movie last November. Today I finished the last book, Breaking Dawn. I am not a reader AT All and haven't read a book since high school. So this was an accomplishment for me. These books are awesome! I fell in love with the story. I Even fell in love with the whole vampire theme. The actor Robert Pattinson is the first actor who I think is good looking and I think they picked the perfect girl to play Bella's part in the movie. The movie was so good I watched it twice in the theater. I think it will never get old for me to watch over and over again. I can't wait for March 21st. (It will be on DVD)

A big one!

Can't wait...

I am literally addicted to the Twilight series. I am waiting for Breaking dawn to get here by mail. I had to order it online because all the stores I went to were all sold out. On Saturday my brother in law Dustin and his wife Michelle came over for some b-day celebrations. As soon as they got here, I couldn't stop asking them what's going to happen. Dustin was very kind to upload the first 12 chapters of Breaking Dawn onto our ipod. I finished listening so now I am waiting impatiently for my book again. I think I am going crazy.I am hoping it gets here today or tomorrow. These books are so good I can't put them down:)

Chase is a Sunbeam now!

Today was Chase's first Sunday in the primary as a Sunbeam. Towards the end of sacrament meeting Chase asked "mom, am I going to the primary." I said that he was and he looked really scared and told me and Greg that he didn't want to. Greg and I told him that he was now a big boy and had to go the primary to be like his cousins.

He looked like he was going to start crying when he said "I'm not a big big big boy yet." He was really nervous and I felt really bad for him. It made me smile because that was the first time he ever said that he is not a big boy.

When I took him to primary I had the butterflies for him. I just didn't want to see him cry. I stayed with him until his teacher got there. I looked back to see him and he looked scared. I thought he was going to start crying again but he didn't. I was so proud of him. When we were driving back home from church I asked him what he learned and he told me he learned how to make a crown, eat cookies, and bless the cookies. (That sounded like a fun day in Primary!)
I am so happy to know he is going to enjoy primary. I hope he does well from now on. The primary president said he did everything well. She said he sat down quietly and participated. Last month Savannah officially started nursery and she really likes it. I can already leave her there without any crying. Chase was three before he would let us leave him there alone. We're so proud of her too.
