We spent Thanksgiving 2010 with the Pitzac family and had a yummy turkey dinner and dessert. This year has been exciting! I have so much to be thankful for.. (so much)! Carl is such a huge blessing. I love my children and husband so much. I don't know what life would be like without them. I am so grateful for our home and being able to live in such a beautiful place.
We missed our family dearly this Thanksgiving but I'm learning it's okay to continue family traditions with our children. I am most Grateful for the Lord who is watching out for me since my marrage. His has blessed me with an amazing husband and children:)
I didn't get any pictures on Thanksgiving day. I was too busy getting things together:) For the first time in my life I went shopping on black Friday. I got some pretty good deals. Glad I got some Christmas shopping done:) I can't wait to see all my family next week!

Carl at 5 months..
Savvy putting her fingers up for her brother who is 5 months old.
Carl keeps growing... He skipped sizes 6-9 and is now wearing size 12!( He is learning how to sit on his own. During theses pictures he wanted to show off his tongue:)
He does pretty good keeping his upper body up for a longer period of time.
Laie Temple!
The Laie Temple was rededicated this past weekend. All the youth from the State of Hawaii performed for President Manson, President Eyring, and President Cook at a cultural celebration on Saturday night.
Greg was really proud of the youth. He said they did an amazing job!! Afterwards, all of the youth were crying.
These pictures are from the LDS website. If you would like to read the article click here: http://www.ldschurchnews.com/articles/60159/Laie-Hawaii-Temple-Youth-present-cultural-celebration-2-The-Gathering-Place.html It's really cool to learn the history of the Laie temple.
Can you find Greg in this picture?
Here is the youth from our stake, and all of Greg's youngmen performed.
Chase, Savvy, and Carl got to go with Mammy and Grandpa to the open-house. Chase's favorite room was the baptismal font, and Savvy loved the sealing room. Carl loved the Celestial room.

Just the two of us..
Greg and I finished celebrating our anniversary this weekend. He had planned to visit Kauai but it didn't work out because Greg had to do a flag ceremony at Pearl Harbor on Friday morning and go to the courthouse to meet with all the family court judges in afternoon.
It was fine though. We had a great time here in Oahu:) Dad and Mammy came out to take care of the kids. I got to do some snorkeling, we stayed a night on the beach in Waikiki, we visited the valley of temples, and I even learned how to eat with chop-sticks. Best of all we had a lot of alone time--just Greg and I!! Hooray for alone time!
On Thursday, I watched Greg do some surfing early with Kent and Mark. Here's a picture of Greg and Kent waiting to go in:

Here are some more pictures from our weekend. This is a bell outside a Japanese temple that we visited. It is suppose to bring happiness to who ever rings it. It looks like it's working for Greg! He's actually smiling in a picture!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, mammy and grandpa for babysitting for us!
Oh, and there is a little beach right by where we live that we had all to ourselves for a whole afternoon!!! The water was perfect, clear, and full of turtles and other sea creatures. The best part though was being alone at this secret little cove with my hubby for the entire afternoon.

What a weekend!!
Halloween 2010!
I took the kids down our street to trick or treat. The kids were scared but got the hang of it by about the 5th house. Chase and Savvy have only done trunk or treating so trick or treating was new to them.
At the very first house of the night, Savvy tried to give the homeowner a piece of candy. I told her that she didn't have to give them a candy, and that they would give her a candy. We got into a group of kids from the neighborhood and Chase and Savvy felt less scared to follow the group. Here are our pumpkins:) Chase carved them with a little help.

Trunk or Treating
We went to the beach with the Pitzak family and had a great time with them. Chase and Savvy like playing at the beach with kids their age. Carl riding on Greg's surfboard:)
Later that night we went trunk or treating with our ward. This is what our trunk looked like:
Chase wanted to be Batman and Savvy wanted to be Ariel. Carl was a little turtle:) Savvy rocked the red hair and Chase went as Batman:)
