For his first birthday I wanted to do something special. We celebrated his birthday together with Savvy's at the Sea Life Park. It was a really beautiful tourist attraction. The big blue beautiful Pacific Ocean is right in front of the park which is located on a hill, so while walking through the park, you're either looking at the sea life in the park, at the blue sea in front of the park, or at the green Koolau mountain range behind the park--kind of like heaven might be! The kids got up close with a well trained Dolphin.
The day of Carl's actual birthday, we deiced to take the kids to ChuckECheese for some game action. They really enjoy that place:) After that we went home for cake. Carl just dug right in to his piece of cake. Here's a picture of him opening a gift that Chase picked out for him. It's a cute Mickey Mouse plane:)

Look at these huge turtles.
They were our favorite animals to look at. We looked at them for a good 25min. There were lots of them & moving.... slow:)
He enjoyed looking at the animals. If he couldn't see the animals he would scream at us to get him out of his stroller so he could see what we were looking at.
